ADHD Coaching

Knowing that our ADHD brains are wired differently, and knowing the strengths and challenges that come with that, can make all the difference!
Oh no! I have ADHD!
If you've been diagnosed with ADHD - or even if you're just "pretty sure" - it can be very exciting or it can be a little unsettling...
  • You might want to deny it's real and just "try harder".
  • You might feel anxious, worried, even broken.
  • You might wonder "what are people going to think about me?"
Oh WOW! I have ADHD!
On the other hand, you may be excited to finally understand how amazing your brain is.
  • You might feel like I did: "ah, so that's what's going on!"
  • You might get excited because of the association between ADHD and creativity, being open to new experiences, and lifelong learning.
  • You might start to understand where your seemingly endless energy comes from.
No matter what...

No matter what your initial reaction, it can be helpful to have someone with you as you start to navigate this new world. Someone who's gone through those initial steps. Someone who believes, as I do, that this is not a handicap -- nor is it a superpower. It's just part of who you are.

And, being that it's part of who you are, I want you to learn about it, celebrate the strengths it brings, understand the challenges it brings, and focus on what's really important: Your Life.

Traits of our ADHD Brains

These are some of the traits that can come with our ADHD brains. Remember that not everyone experiences this the same way: some of these will feel familiar, some won't. That's just a reflection of how complicated we are as human beings.

Who am I?
Why do I coach?
Who do I work with?

Who am I? I was diagnosed with ADHD at 57, after my wife had a casual conversation with a friend whose son had recently been diagnosed. When I started reading about ADHD, I recognized myself in many of the stories being told. It explained a lot to me about the successes and failures I'd experienced - both personally and professionally.

Why Do I Coach? I'm a strong believer that each of us has a unique set of gifts and a unique perspective, and that the more we can claim those strengths, the better we can make our lives, each others' lives, and the world. Coaching you is the best way I can work with you as you become your best self.

Who Do I Work With? My favorite clients are creative, curious, and committed to navigating a life that includes ADHD but is not defined by it.

Let's Get Started!

Unmanaged ADHD can keep you from living the life you want - or even imagining what that might be!

Work with a coach who lives with ADHD and knows how to navigate the traits.
